Mathematics, made visible.

Images conceived where mathematical structure, scientific imagination and philosophical paradox begin to overlap.

studioidepix treats the image not as illustration, but as a field of thought: symmetry can fracture, topology can become bodily, and impossible space can still feel internally coherent.

01 / Manifesto

The image as a thinking surface.

These works begin with mathematical ideas—knots, recursion, symmetry, projection, topology, impossible figures—but they are not diagrams. Each image pushes a formal idea toward sensation: depth, tension, ambiguity, repetition and paradox.

02 / Concept fields

Five ways of entering the work.

The collection can be read across disciplines. A single image may belong to more than one field; the categories are lenses, not boxes.

TopologyKnots, loops, one-sidedness, continuity and deformation.
SymmetryRotation, reflection, repetition and broken invariance.
RecursionSelf-similarity, nesting, limits and infinite return.
Impossible SpaceLocal coherence against global contradiction.
GeometryPolyhedra, projection, stellation, curves and tilings.
03 / Selected works

A visual atlas of mathematical thought.

Filter by conceptual field, or read the sequence as one continuous movement from structure to paradox.

04 / Reading the image

Not illustration. Translation.

A mathematical idea may be exact; an artwork does not need to be. The aim is to translate structural relations—crossing, invariance, recursion, contradiction—into a visual experience capable of carrying ambiguity.

Science contributes models. Mathematics contributes structure. Philosophy contributes questions about coherence, perception and the limits of representation. The image is where they meet.

“A form can be mathematically impossible and still be visually persuasive.”
05 / Studio note

Human direction, machine-assisted image making.

The works are developed through iterative visual experimentation using AI image tools, followed by human selection, correction, proportion and scale adjustments. The mathematical and conceptual framing is part of the work, not an afterthought.
